Bovey Castle

Luxury hotel and spa, a country mansion in the heart of Devon where Tony takes Amber for a romantic weekend. An amazing sporting estate with an Elemis spa, it was the perfect setting for Amber's glamour and Tony's hearty love of activity!

Rebecca had a superb hot stone massage and a great Elemis facial. She went for walks in the grounds, swam in the fantastically luxurious pool, watched a falconry display, learnt to shoot a bow and arrow, and her husband brushed up on his fly-fishing skills, all of which will be appearing in the book! She also ate and drank far too much excellent food and wine and can recommend the new Parma Violet-based cocktail...

The InterContinental, Park Lane

Where Petal parties in the Spa Boudoir suite with Dan. Rebecca stayed in the Spa Boudoir with her sister, and you can see that the rose petals scattered in the amazing bath weren't an exaggeration! The in-room massage was wonderful - Elemis again. The whole experience was incredibly pampering and luxe and she really recommends the Sunday all-you-can-eat lunch, with endless quantities of champagne...

Ca' Maria Adele in Venice

Needing an incredibly romantic venue for the closing scene, Rebecca and her husband visited Venice and stayed in this boutique hotel with its own private landing stage for motorboat taxis and gondolas. Every detail here is perfectly done and exqusite - as you're booking in, they bring you prosecco and almond biscotti, plus hand towels to refresh yourself, and the breakfast is just as delicious.

The Moor's Room has the jacuzzi and balcony overlooking the Grand Canal which features in BAD GIRLS, but the Sala Noire was equally romantic and sexy - it was a very difficult choice of rooms!
